Afterdam

So quick holiday to Amsterdam over where after the days of following rain forecasts the sun came out and surprised us all. Amsterdam is amazing and so cool but alas back to work again. So today I have spent some time at the Bali and Playfair trade show in Stoneleigh Park today, some of the kids outdoor activity structures are amazing! Makes me wish I was a kid again. Will have another look around tomorrow and see what I am allowed to have a play on.

In other news we were at the Leamington Peace Festival at the weekend and boy did it rain. There I was believing the sun always shone on the peace festival and how wrong I was. We stuck it out though and it was worth it on Sunday with the sun coming out eventually, and meeting some amazing people with personal stories of skin cancer and loving what we here at Luvskin are trying to do. Fingers crossed we can do they justice. As for fund raising for Cancer Research we have burst through our goal of £100 and are sitting pretty at £166 but there is still time and still opportunity to give at the link below.

With less than a week to go I have begun to hit the gym hard and finally managed to jog 3k without collapsing! I think they need to invent a new word for the level of unfit I have managed to achieve.

Jubilee Weekend

Training for the Stoneleigh Park Race for life has taken a major detour this weekend with the celebrations. Plenty of cake eaten and wine drank. Fingers crossed I can hit the gym a few more times before a cheeky holiday! How was your Jubilee Weekend?
